Hi,
I have to develop additional functionality for existing large ASP web application. I was thinking to do it in VB.NET/ASP.NET, but I'm not sute if it is a good idea to mix ASP and ASP.NET.
What would you advise?

As far as I know you cannot share Session variables between ASP and ASP.NET. If that's a problem for you, then write the new part in ASP.

Or scrap it completely and start again in asp.net
It will be hard yards to start with, but as far as maintenance etc goes, you will be so glad you rewrote it in .net. |

Unfortunately this is not an option. The ASP application is huge and this will require many hours of coding. Any other suggestions?
