I just browsed through the articles and tutorials here and they all seem to focus on asp/asp.net and sql.
Here is a vb.net tutorial that might be useful for you:

Here is a site with a lot of resources for VB.Net.
I have walke through the tutorial before and it is very easy-to-use. They have some articles and other information as well.

I always thought vb was a waste of time or a kiddie language. I am seeing some links here that indicate it might be much more useful. I am starting to get intrigued. Might need to play around with it a bit.
Kind of curious as to what kind of projects people are using with VB. _________________ Programmers do it in code |

Out of curiousity why do you guys use VB instead of C#? It seems like C# could do anything you needed to do in VB, or am I mistaken? |

People who have experience with VB6 and VBscript prefer VB.NET. I for one prefer C#.

Yes its natural for people to evolve from VB6 to VB.Net
THe rest of us stick to C# since its a more classic language along the lines of C, C++ and java. |
