a big hello once again.
a couple of days ago i posted a message, where i requested for some assistance in coverting excel file to PDF, while i was searching i came across a site, which coverts an xml file to a PDF file, (the code i have it),
now i am trying to convert, the excel file to xml file, but when i save the file, i am getting an error message "There is an invalid character in the given encoding line 1, position 1"
i went through my excel file but didnt find any invalid character.
any ideas please |

Did you try to debug the application. How exactly do you convert the excel file to XML? _________________ Peter

Ok - here's a quick and dirty way to convert excel to XML - I apologize in advance if this sounds like a commercial but i'm trying to be helpful here. Using something called Stylus Studio, you can load your XML file. If you click on the "Grid" tab - then you'll see a spreadsheet view of the XML. You can then just select the colums of data that you need, copy to clipboard, then paste it right into Microsoft Excel. |
