Hi,
I need to retrieve IP addresses of the users when they login into the site.
The IP address I require is the actual IP address on the network card which may be private IP addresses.
What I think we need to do is ... send the IP address as a prt of the message header since if the user is behind a NAT box, his IP may be changed.
Thenn we need to read this message on the server and store it.
Can someone help me with this?

I don't think you can do that with any technology. Why would you need the IP anyways?

Hey why not ... I need the server to record the private IP address of each host that connects to it and also the port number.
