Microsoft releasing new free SQL Server version?

I've heard that Microsoft are releasing new free version of SQL Server. Is that true and where can I download it?

Hi Bob,

Microsoft has released only a Beta 2 version of the SQL Server Express 2005. You can find more info about SQL Server Express 2005 here:

Yes there is a free version of MS SQL Server 2005 called MS SQL Server 2005 Express. You can download it here:

Does it have different features? Well Im assuming it does since its the express version but id like to personally know what's different about it.
