I'm a bit lazy and everyone here seems smart enough does PHP2 really only use MySQL databases? How in the world would that work out? Any examples anyone?

This is an ASP forum, and I don't think you'll find much PHP help here...

To be honest I dont think anyone here really cares about PHP.
I know I dont, I think its the lazy man's scripting language.

As mentioned, this is an ASP forum Smile

While I completely agree... This is an ASP forum, not a PHP forum, and it's not the place to post questions about php... I wouldn't go so far as to say PHP is the lazyman's scripting language... it is one of the most widely used scripting languages on the net....

But lets get back to talking about ASP Wink

It is widely used, yes.
But that is probably because its the easiest language to learn and use.

I agree with what someone said there - it's definitely nowhere near as complex as other languages like Java and asp.net

You don't even have to declare variables in PHP before using them... surely that's lazy Wink

PHP is the same as ASP but for Linux (of course it runs on Windows too). If you know ASP then PHP is easy to learn, because the concept is the same.

I have to disagree with that statement.
They are 2 very different languages. I know asp.net quite well but I cant pick up php.
They are quite vastly different. If you have looked into it enough, you'd realise that.
