|
|
Hi,
I was wondering are there any hosting companies offering both Windows and Linux hosting within the same hosting account? I guess I mean both Windows and Linux to be maintained from on control panel.
Thanks! |

The only hosting control panel that does that is H-Sphere as far as I know.
H-Sphere supports both Linux and Windows and the control panel is easy to use.

Thanks Paul,
Do you know of any hosts offering H-Sphere? Have you used H-Sphere, if yes are you still using it?
Thanks! |

You can find most of the H-Sphere hosts on the page below:
http://www.psoft.net/resellers.php
I've used H-Sphere several years ago and I was very pleased with the performance and the stability of the control panel. I don't use it now, as I don't need Linux account anymore.

Thanks Paul!
I'm gonna check all H-Sphere resellers and hosts and hopefully I'll find a good web hosting deal.
Thanks again! |

What are the advantages of hosting with both windows and linux on the same server?
I cant imagine having a need for this. |

The actual Linux and Windows operating systems are on different server. Just your web control interface is one so you can control your account, which can have multiple websites on different physical servers and different operating systems.

That's exactly why I need it. I have websites hosted on both Windows and Linuz and I just want to consolidate my hosting accounts. |

SteveT,
Did you try H-Sphere? If yes, how is it? Do you like it? Does it have any bugs?

HSphere is pretty commonly used. If there are bugs, then Im sure they are ironed out pretty quickly with patches!
Im scared to use Hsphere, I dont know why. To me it just seems very complicated. |
