Hi,

I'm looking for a SQL Server function which returns date and time in the same way as the VBScript/ASP Now() function. Does SQL Server has a similar function?

Hi Tammi,

Yes, T-SQL (the SQL Server version of SQL standard language) has a function called GETDATE(), which does exactly what the Now() VBScript function does Smile.
